Oh goody!!

I've always wanted a pair of Docs and after placing so many vintage pairs (even some veterans that were worse for wear) on my eBay "watching list", I happened to come across this "as-good-as-new" duo and secured my purchase immediately. They were a pleasant surprise yesterday and were happily received thanks to the delivery man pressing the doorbell continuously. Good timing that I was home, as I took the morning off due to my 'special' appointment at the orthodontist! Yes from this moment on, I am officially a metal mouth. I had butterflies in my stomach the whole procedure. Uncomfortable "mouth-stay-openers" where placed in my mouth, assistants assured me I'll be okay and as soon I felt something being attached to my teeth, I started to imagine what they would look like as I stared helplessly at the ceiling. I soon found out as I was given a hand mirror....... My heart sank, or was that my self-confidence? I wanted take a closer look but at the sight of metal and wire, my mouth forced to it keep shut. I didn't end up getting any colours. Don't know what I was thinking before, but my aim now is to not attract any attention to my mouth. So please don't think I've turned emo if you notice me not smiling in any of my future photos. My first meal was difficult to eat. And dinner was worse. I've already become so paranoid and I seriously think this mini pipe cleaner brush they gave me will be my new best friend :(
