My Parklife festival outfit. Hardly cost a cent, shorts and hoodie top are recovered items from my family spring clean months ago that I customized, and accessories either handmade or vintage. For the first time in my music festival history, I didn't have to buy one single thing to wear - well apart from my Doctor Martens that is (which were a bargain on eBay!!) . I managed to not get carried away with the scissors whilst cutting the sleeves off the top. I remember spotting the bright cyan blue amongst the heap of clothes during our mass spring clean, and with the print reading "Sun Coast", I knew straight away I will be sporting this retro piece at Parklife.
The weather on Sunday was NOT ideal festival weather AT ALL. Grey and rainy all morning, there wasn't a smidget of blue sky in sight! Parklife, was going to be a Mudlife instead. However, that did not stop me or my trusty Docs, stomping away through the muddy grounds at Moore Park. The sun came out for a good hour or so, but Mother Nature was so indecisive, it rained then cleared... then rained then cleared and then rained some more. Festival-goers immediately unravelled their see-through ponchos, whilst I quickly pulled over my blue hoodie whenever I felt a raindrop. I've worn a hoodie before at past festies, and for the second-time-round, I would seriously vote "the hoodie" as a music festival MUST-HAVE.
Wearing: Sun Coast hoodie top and white acid wash denim high-waisted shorts (both found in family spring clean), leather love heart studded belt (vintage), Doctor Martens (eBay), feather earrings and assorted accessories.
I know I'm delayed but I will be posting actual shots from the day soon! Promise!
Can you tell I have braces by the way?? I think THIS IS my very first post WITH braces haha. I've learnt to NOT open my mouth when there's a camera in sight haha
