Kingdom of The Illuminated + UNEARTHEN

Insane pieces from Kester Black's Kingdom Of The Illuminated collection and Unearthen. If only I happened to clean my room and find a spare $350-$450 in the corner. If only. My jaw literally dropped when I first saw the Unearthen pieces. Crystals and minerals housed in empty bullet casings - this is only conjured up in dreams. And there's the vials containing samples of natural elements for example The Pacific Ocean? No way?! I've always wanted to collect sand/dirt from countries and places I've traveled to and place them in labeled glass jars, but with the detailed customs claim card and the fact I might just end up on a Border Security episode, my conscious told me I might know be able to get away with that! So what about this piece? Are sniffer dogs trained to detect 'ocean'?.....hrrmm

But wait! It doesn't end there! Head over to their site... you might not think your jaw could drop any further, but have your hands ready cause it just will. And their product packaging? It's a whole masterpiece itself. Have I fallen in love? Hell yes! Now if only cupid can 'unearthen' a few good hundreds in my wallet. HA! ;)

Hope everyone is having a pleasant weekend! I've been sleeping and lounging around all day at Andrew's. Deep slumber oh how I've needed you! I had to send my camera (which is really a waterproof camera) away for repair. It has developed an annoying black spot on the lens, which I think could most likely be mould... i hope Canon can fix the baby as IT IS supposed to be "waterproof". ... tisk tisk. Missing you already my baby blue!

  5. oh my god those are so crazy ! I love the idea of the viles being filled with earthly materials. Maybe I should do a DIY on this since I don't have 350 in cash and a paypal.

  7. Holy shit those are all really, really beautiful! It's funny because I when I read your comment about wanting to take dirt from all over the world and put it in vials,I instantly thought about how the customs department would react to that. Then you made a comment about those sniffer dogs and I just laughed a little ;D

I am totally feeling you about the being-too-poor-to-afford-stuff ... gahhh being a tertiary student sucks :(
