My close photographer friend Czarina and I always wanted to do a proper, well thought-out photoshoot editorial. We wanted it to be based on a strong theme, story and included styled outfits - the whole works! Last Saturday we finally got our act and 11 outfits together (that's right 11) and started snapping. With an amazing location that was a godsend itself, scorching hot 35 degree weather and no shade, we managed to pull through and the results were worth every drop of sweat.
Here are some behind the scenes/outtakes of the shoot titled
The inspiration - the Cherokee in the American plains.
I hope you like what you see now. I just saw the final edited shots today and they are indeed amazing. Despite the slight sun burn, and the fact I had to wear jeans and a leather jacket in that unbearable heat... we are both indeed proud of our efforts. I am so happy that I can express my love for fashion, art and photography with someone else who shares the same level of interest and artistic vision.
Final shots to come through soon! I can't wait to share them all with you!
Keep an eye out people!
