I could not help but think when dressing myself, that my outfit somewhat resembled something the Alexa Chung would wear. These cute floral collettes teamed up with this sharp high collar blouse from Ezzentric Topz Vintage make up for that perfect contrast between dainty feminine and school boy charm. When I saw the black trims and black and gold buttons against the pink fleshy tone, I knew I had to have it! A bit Chloe don't you think? Thanks again Twee!
I've been living in these black crocheted brogues, they're super comfy and give me an excuse to turn-up my skinny jeans as the weather warms up. Although, let's not talk about the weather here in Sydney... it's literally all over the shop! These photos were taken by Thu from Original Number a while ago when the weather WAS great! We went exploring around the neighbourhood and found this awesome place that had perfect lighting and an old wire fence. We also came across this big old log, which I presume will be used as a delightful prop in many upcoming outfit posts! ;) Thank goodness the work week is finally coming to an end. Tonight I will be attending the Finders Keepers Markets again at Carriageworks. There were so many quirky and cute handmade jewellery and accessories last time, I'm certainly looking forward to this season's visual goodness - hopefully I can call something mine own too!
December is already here, which reminds me the Christmas tree will need to go up! Our one is light pink! My mum bought it post Christmas one year during the big sales, and I can understand why you may hesitate at the thought of a pink Christmas tree, but trust me.. it kinda works! hehe I will have to show you later.
Yesterday, I literally jumped out of my skin when I saw the bus to central approach my bustop - why???!! Because it had the bus ad I designed smack bang on the side of it! I finally saw it in real life and immediately took some pics on my phone while my friends tried to stall the driver. You could just imagine the excitement at the fact I was riding that very bus home! After telling the bus driver that the ad on the side of the bus was my work, he was kind enough to delay an extra minute at central so my friends could take a photo of me standing next to it! Thank you mister bus driver!
As Gossip Girl would say, "Spotted!..." haha
I'm pretty proud of it if I must say so myself... There's a lot of anxiety as to whether the design and printing came out well, so yes I was relieved to finally see it with my very own eyes! eeeeeeee!!!
