My weekend outfit summed up in 3 words:
casual, comfort, stripes.
I've been wearing a lot of loose clothing as of late. I wouldn't call it 'lazy dressing' but recently I've tried to avoid the feeling of being restricted due to figure hugging garments and tight jeans. Comfort is more my thing, and especially over the weekend. When I discovered this 80's retro tee during our family spring clean a while back, images of old vintage Levi's ads and Youth Group's Forever Young filmclip instantly came to mind. With the warm humid weather we've been having recently, it was the first thing I grabbed out of my wardrobe as I was packing my bag for the weekend. Quite light and perfectly worn in, I felt it added a bit of fun and colour to this plain black maxi I picked up on my thrifting adventure the following week. I originally pictured teaming this tee with high waisted dark indigo jeans, classic Chuck Taylors and sucking on a Sunny Boy iceblock as I walked home from the Milk Bar. HA! If only! ....
Wearing: 80's retro collared tee (rescued from family spring clean), maxi skirt (thrifted $4!!), belt (vintage), raw quartz crystal pendant, assorted accessories and crocheted slip-ons (Rubi).
I can't believe how fast this weekend went!! Hope you guys got up to some fun?!...
