The weather gods have certainly been kind to us this weekend, gracing us with clear blue skies and a lot of sunshine! It was already a splendid 25.5 degrees at 9am this morning. Hello summer!! - you have finally decided to join us! Please stay put! Hehe. Being a bright and cheerful day, I guess my outfit reflected my mood. I opted for eye-popping contrasting colours and this skirt I picked up on my past thrifting adventure done just the job! I decided to team it up with these yellow/orangey wrap around flats - whenever I'm wearing any shade of purple, I can't help but to wear a contrasting colour being yellow of course. I haven't worn these flats in ages, and I'm quite glad they saw the light of day today. Andrew and I went to have lunch at Watsons Bay and it was indeed lovely. The instant tranquility, salty sea breeze and million dollar views were a perfect backdrop for our fish and chip lunch. We went for a stroll around the bay and came across a jetty where you could jump off and go for swim in the water. It was netted off and for a second I wished I was wearing my bikini underneath! Will be heading here next time for a dip that's for sure.
How was everybody's weekend? Right now I'm cranking U2 songs in prep for tomorrow night! Yes, I'm going to the concert! Though I think all the hype will hit me tomorrow on the way there..... JayZ and U2 here I come!!!!
