The FINDERS KEEPERS Markets

I won't be writing much here, please expect a tonne of photos instead. They say pictures are worth a thousand words. I think this time the photos will do the talking. The Finders Keepers Markets held at Carriageworks offered yet another round of quirky, cute, delicate and handmade pieces. I personally liked the first one back in winter more, though there were still some amazing pieces up for sale. Hrmm, I would love to have my very own market stall one day. *pause and looks up to the sky*.... Yes. One day.

naww aren't these daisies in glass water bottles too cute! A great market stall divider don't you think?

Saw these "Rebound" books being advertised on the Frankie site. They looked incredible in person. What a clever idea. I was waiting to come across an old childhood favourite book cover, but no luck.

OWLS, OWLS, OWLS!!! so pretty!

Moulded resin obscure creatures in jars. Hrmmm???

Listening to this right now!

The Paper City!! I asked the girls how long it took them to make - 3 days total!!

My super cool paper crown! hehe

Cute paper cranes that lined the stage. Am I sensing a paper theme here people?!!

This necklace made me go WOWWW!! Porcelain, crochet and pearls rolled into one! Beautiful!

The market stage. Those trees remind me of the Willy Wonka movie?! Agree?

My friend's paper love heart head band!

Don't look at my fluffy hair. It was so hot and sweaty trying to maneuver around the stalls :S

Wearing: Versace tee (vintage), DIY studded denim vest, black maxi skirt (thrifted $4!!!), Rubi clogs and belt (vintage)

I was hoping to leave with something, but nothing really popped out at me :( Don't get me wrong, there were some really beautiful pieces but I was waiting to come across that special "OMG OMG" piece. Just realised the nights are getting warmer indeed and sooner or later there will be no need for a light jacket anymore. Fingers crossed sultry summer nights are on their way!

If you follow me on Twitter, you will see I went to go visit the sparkly new Sydney Westfields and Australian Museum today. It was a whole big adventure in itself, welcoming each corner and turn with an "ooooo" and an "ahhhhh". MORE pics to come soon!

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend! The Honeyroom Goodie Bag Giveway closes tomorrow night, so make sure you get your entries in pronto!!
