CROCHET

Featured earlier in my "Weekly Obsessions" post, here is my crocheted top I received from Wild Hearts Vintage. I am absolutely smitten over it! It's comfortable and perfect for the humid weather we've been having here in Sydney. Girly with the right amount of detail, I love the scalloped edges and the crocheted patterns. Teamed up with my black velvet skirt from American Apparel and woven brogues from Zu - this is truly one of my favourite never-fail 'creature comfort' outfits to date.

Being a simple black and white outfit, I thought it would be great opportunity to sport my amethyst necklace and DIY ring! Any excuse to wear a raw crystal or two is fine by me :)

A lot of people have noticed my hair has gone really light - I seem to notice the regrowth more. But I think I might leave it and perhaps see if I can get the ends dyed a shade lighter for the "ombre look" What do you think guys? Yay or nay??

My friend Yesha took these photos for me as we were about to go on a thrifting adventure to this op-shop she stumbled upon last weekend. It's become one of our favourite activities to do together and I'm sure quite common amongst you ladies! Cheap thrills and coming across "that" OMG item always puts a smile on your dial :) I ended up picking up quite a few pieces and some good books which I was in desperate need of. Will reveal them to you next post!

Can't help but to laugh at the photo below: You can see my cat Chelsea snooping around in the background. I believe she somehow knew we were taking photos and wanted to sneak in the frame. She's too cute!

Here is Chelsea hiding in the bushes ready for a close up! hehe
