During my last thrifting adventure, I picked up this amazing retro patterned jacket. The graphic eclectic print and wide elastic waist sure makes this a 'statement' piece. With the weather cooling down, a bold jacket like this is just what I need to add that extra oomph to any winter outfit. The fabric is also pretty light and can still be thrown on over a plain tee, unbuttoned with layered necklaces and black skinny jeans. What do you think?

This tan blouse is another great find and I think it's going to be a favourite for layering in the cooler months ahead. With it's wash and wear material - there isn't any need to iron, another plus to this $5 find! I am looking forward to teaming it up with a bright fire engine red vest or sweater over the top. Judging from the winter fashion forecasts - tan and red will be big colours this season!

When I stumbled across this delightful ruffled blouse, my eyes lit up with scenes of tropical beaches, sun-kissed skin and bikinis flashing in my mind. It was going to be the perfect throw-over to wear on the beaches of Thailand when I fly over there in only less than 3 weeks! I so excited to wear it for the first time, I'll make sure I'll have a coconut juice in hand to celebrate this $2 find! Yes, it was only $2! SCORE!!

This amazing pair of cut-out sandals and their espadrille soles are the most comfortable pair of flats I've bought to date! Being another bargain (only $20) Thailand also popped into my mind, imagining myself walking the streets of Bangkok with these babies on my feet. I apologise for all the Thailand talk, but I just can't wait to escape the awful weather we've been having here and I guess all the realities and worries of working life in general. I have promised myself not to buy anything up until my holiday, because I know my money will be well spent elsewhere like the Chatuchak Markets in Bangkok - the monster of all markets!!! Oh the temptation!

I would like to say hello to my new friends on Twitter and my new followers here on my blog! I have now reached over 300 followers and already thinking of throwing an awesome giveaway for all you lovely people! Time will only tell, but I will sure to keep a eye out during my shopping adventures in Thailand.....perhaps something exotic?? ;)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! xx
