Another bright and vibrant post from Bangkok - the itinerary for the day, SHOPPING! We caught our first ever tuk tuk ride to Bangkok's main shopping district MBK and Siam Square. Being a very hot and humid day (like every other day in Thailand), the natural breeze relieved us as we weaved throughout the traffic and in between cars. Our tuk tuk driver Matt (Yep, we got his name!), was very enthusiast and a fellow Filipino himself! For those who are planning to visit Bangkok, tuk tuk rides should only cost between 60-80 Baht. Anything higher, well mate, you're getting ripped off. Most of the time the drivers ask you how much you are willing to pay - so be stern and confidently announce your first price at 60 Baht and haggle from there. Trust me, their eyes will light up at the fact you know this inside tip! ;) If they don't budge, just simply walk away and approach the next tuk tuk.
VIP??? Oh yeh?!..... hahaha
The pink and blue cars are taxis. Taxis in Thailand are either bright pink, orange, blue and even green! But not yellow for some reason...? hrrmmm
