JOHNNY GUITAR

For my birthday I was very lucky to receive these rusty Johnny Guitar corduroy shorts by Someday Lovin' via Market HQ. When I first saw them online, I immediately fell in love with their sunburnt orange colour and tie-dye wash. I love them so much (thank you to my peeps Czarina and Yesha) I wore them the very same night, teaming them up with my cuddly teddy fur coat, thigh-high socks and knee high boots.

I've also had my eye on the matching Johnny Guitar Jacket from Somedays Lovin'. How rocking is it?!!

I'm loving the 70s feel lately and so glad it's a popular trend at the moment. I've come across quite a few bloggers and friends who feel they should of lived through the 70s. I personally think a lot of the fashion now stems from this period, whether they've borrowed similar cuts and fabrics for modern designs. Lets hope the flares, corduroy and Almost Famous inspired clothing stays for the long run. I would love to wake up one morning and live a day in the 70s - John Lennon glasses, suede vests and all.

  3. meeeeeow looking good babe! the curls in your hair look amazing. & i love that colour of those pants, such a perfect burnt orange.
i was so disappointed in zara today! there were some nice pieces.. but not as many as what i saw online & it seemed so small? & not enough accessories.. aaah i was so devastated. but i spent waaaay too much in lots of other boutiques so that kinda made up for it. although i will not be going anywhere near shops for quite awhile now thats for sure!x

  20. Those shorts are too cool; I love the way you wore them! And that coat reminds me of something I'd find lurking in the costume room of my high school's drama department. It's ridiculous, and that what makes it so awesome. It would be hard to pull off, but there's no doubt in my mind you could do it.
