MYER STYLE - COLOUR CLASH BY YOUR ONLY BLACKSWAN

With the weather teasing us with sunny, clear sky days you can't help but to feel excited at the fact spring is just around the corner. In no time we will be saying goodbye to the dull, grey days and will be welcoming in the much anticipated colour and loud prints. Inspired by Myer's season trends, here is a fashion spread I designed exploring the widely recognised and popular trend of colour-blocking. As you can see, I was not afraid to take the plunge and included a range of Myer's new arrivals, both bold and bright!

Here I present COLOUR CLASH!

"Think outside the box and embrace beautifully bold new colour choices. Juxtapose opposite ends of the spectrum and challenge the status quo. Try a lemon yellow with bright, rich reds to splash a little summer sunshine on your style. Mix electric blue with lime green and pops of hot pink.

Break the colour rules and be seen in blue and green. Clashing colour will instantly lift your mood and liven up your wardrobe. Go loud and proud in traffic stopping colour blocks or crazy colour-confused patterns - Myer"

So what are you waiting for?!!! If you are a tad hesitant to go colour-block head to toe, why not choose one colour-popping item in your wardrobe and rework it to your everyday look. Remember, one solid colour will go a long way already! Whether it is a statement pair of heels, a bright scarf or hot pink lips.... Go on - colour clash today!

  4. This post is so relevant because today I was staring at my wardrobe, compiled an outfit entirely out of black and white and I realised.... I don't have any sort of bold colour.
