With the weather cooling down here in Sydney, there are only a few opportunities to don the 'bare leg' look. Clever dressing and strategic layering can ensure you beat the chill, while still revealing some skin. This transeasonal casual look made up of nude tones, a statement pattern and worn-in light blue denim is a great example of mixing brights and autumn hues. These Elegant heels in Latte Suede by rmk shoes feature a cute kitten heel and a cross-over ankle wrap, giving the illusion of a high-heeled evening stiletto. The nude suede fabric however makes these heels very wearable and is a match made in heaven with this super soft, suede satchel from Vintage Princess. I have always been a fan of collared shirts and this paisley print number is an exclusive design by Cotton On, as part of their CO by Cotton On collection. It's light pink shade and psychedelic paisley pattern is reminiscent of the 70s and also the popular graphic trend at the moment. With a popped collar and turned-up cuffs, this mix of texture adds interesting details and contrast to the bare accessories. Add a funky statement necklace and stacked bangles, you've got yourself an effortless, casual cool ensemble.

I hope you guys like this look. I think it would also work well with a pair of dark denim skinny jeans and shirt tucked in. What do you think?
On a different note... here's some blog news!
You may have caught me counting down to my Philippines holiday on Facebook and Twitter. To formally update you all, I will be going overseas yet again, but this time to the Philippines. I can't believe it's already been one year since I travelled to Thailand and I'm starting to think, I should really make this annual South-east Asia trip a regular thing. I will be leaving at the end of this month for 3 whole weeks, exciting YES but unfortunately I will be missing out on the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Sydney. I'm actually not that fussed, as I will be living the beach life in Boracay and embracing the tropical heat and culture of of my Motherland. Though I will be missing out on a lot here in Sydney, I know this holiday will recharge my batteries and give me the rest and recreation I've been waiting for. In the mean time, I hope to deliver more posts till I jet off and also schedule a couple for when I'm away.
