eQUIP Accessories Online Store Launch

Have you heard?... Now you can shop eQUIP Accessories online! How awesome is that!?!

Last week I had the pleasure of attending a special dinner event hosted by eQUIP Accessories to launch their online store. Held at The Winery, nestled in the creative hub of Surry Hills, I could have not thought of a better location that reflected the eclectic, playful nature of the brand. If you haven't noticed by now, I'm all about accessorising and choosing affordable pieces that can instantly update any outfit. Statement necklaces are my kryptonite, so you can just imagine how much I was going gaga over that neon number in the above photo! (Will touch more on this piece later on)

Present at the event was eQUIP's head buyer Julie Baker and their grade-A team of buyers and public relations. It was great to meet the different personalities behind the brand, as well as finding out where they seek inspiration and more about the direction of where they see eQUIP going. Other fellow bloggers and myself were treated to rose petal drinks and an array of delicious canapes.

We were also presented with an in-depth, exclusive preview (with mood boards) of eQUIP's upcoming collections, which I can tell you now, are going to be big hits!

First up, Pastels! Think sorbet-inspired shades and fairy floss skies but back with vengeance! Bold colour blocking with pastels is the key focus for this collection, mixing full-colour accessories with all white ensembles, allowing them to really pop! It pulls inspiration from 1960s mod style dressing, shift jumpers and ballet flats. Add some unexpected detail with coloured frame sunnies and a statement clutch with a metallic trim.

Next we have Deco Fabulous, embracing the ornament style of 1920s-30s era and the highly anticipated film, The Great Gasby. Concentrating more on evening accessories, this collection offers a range of rose gold, diamante embellished hair pieces, fascinators, fringed necklaces, opulent earrings and large jewel rings. Glittery clutches, hair combs, hand/wrist chains and clip-on earrings are also stand-outs.

The collection Global Traveller takes on a more exotic spin, borrowing a mix of textures and colours from a variety of places 'once visited'. Primitive influences, snakeskin prints and bright accents like this punchy orange and teal gives this trend a modern, earthy feel. Different coloured snakeskin cuffs and backpacks make as great statement items, along with back-to-neck chains, double rings with chains, body harnesses and black detail accessories for summer nights.

Another collection coming to stores and online is Miami Beach featuring bright neons teamed up with neutrals and golds. Statement shopper bags and layered statement necklaces with collars (so my thing!) is going to be popular, with retro wayfarer sunnies and bright skinny belts being cute add-on accessories.

My favourite collection which will launch in August, is Amazonia. The neon green/yellow accents set back in silver and gold transforms the popular neon trend to a more clean, refined look. Tribal influences and patterns add interesting, unexpected black and white details. A mix of shorter and longer chain necklaces are included as well as ear-hangers for those who really want to make a statement! My personal favourite piece is the moon-shaped necklace with neon threading wrapped around. Looks like I was right on the money too, as I was wearing matching a neon knit that evening! Neon-on-neon, you tell me...can it really be too much?!

This infinity mini ring is super cute, especially for those who prefer the less is more approach but with a twist!

So there you go ladies! These are just some of the exciting accessories by eQUIP launching later in the year, but if you're after whats current and now, head over to their online store where you can actually shop by collection. Handy ay? I honestly admit, I really enjoyed filtering through each of the collections as I was able to see the complete range of related pieces and view the collection as a whole.

All the products online each have high res quality product images, zoom-in feature with all necessary dimensions/material details included.

There are even the options to search what stores actually stock an item, arrange for a store pick-up if you're in the area or have your order delivered to your door. If you're a bit cheeky like me, you can also "share" a desired item via Facebook/Twitter/Email and hint to the world of your lust-worthy piece.

Speaking of lust-worthy pieces, here are my top picks online at eQUIP:

If you're still in your pjs or would rather stay in and not brave the cold, head over to eQUIP Accessories' online store now and see what they have to offer. Beats getting out of bed and dealing with busy shopping centres. They also have some awesome offers going on at the moment, for example:
