Cotton On and CO. By Cotton On at MBFF Sydney

The other week I was invited to attend Cotton On's first ever catwalk show, with the brand debuting at Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival in Sydney. As a frequent shopper at Cotton On, I was indeed looking forward to viewing their classic, yet casual cool streetwear range up-styled. Plus, see the latest of their exclusive, more on-trend range CO. By Cotton On which is only available online. Highlights of the show included their Sports Lux range featuring these fluro panelled trousers and bright graphic tee (above photo) which was my favourite ensemble of the show! A mix of fluro accents, knits, metallics and studs were seen as well a lot of florals and print-on-print. Comic-inspired tanks and striped jeans made for fun, statement looks and a gorgeous lemon yellow Cadillac bomber proved that Spring isn't all about delicate fabrics and feminine cuts. The peplum style also featured in the show, taking on a metallic approach and the much-loved pleated mini also featured in both metallic and wet look fabrics. We were even treated with two cute, ridiculously good-looking male models whom showcased their new range of mens underwear! Ohhh la la!

Before the show, I was also lucky enough to go backstage and get a sneak peek into the dressing and makeup rooms. It's always interesting to see what goes on backstage and the amount of people involved in such a production.

All photos and post-edit by me.

I have my eye on textured biker jacket and luxe panel trousers! Both great pieces for spring that still have that edgy, tailored look.

On a separate note, I hope everyone's weekend went well! Today was Father's Day here in Aus, and it couldn't have been better with sun shining for this special day. Wishing all the dads out there a pleasant Father's Day and big hugs and kisses to mine and my grand dads.
