Wearing: Zara jumper, vintage wool skirt, River Island boots, Marc Jacobs watch and statement spike necklace (surprisingly this is my Mum's!)
So MBFWA has officially started and I'm writing up this post before I head out for DAY 2 shows. Being my first fashion week, I'm keeping an open mind about it all. So far found the most enjoyable part is meeting people whom you've only conversed with online and putting a face to a name or in other cases a voice to a face. My first show for DAY 1 was in the evening, and with Sydney's sunny days the weather does take a turn at nightfall. Here I've worn this comfy, snuggly brocade jumper from Zara and a pop of fire engine red with this vintage skirt (a $6 find at the local vinnies and it's 100% wool! - BARGAIN!) Teamed up with a statement spike necklace and peeptoe ankle booties, it's practical yet fashion fun with the colour pop. Today I'm going for an all black look, (a typical 'black swan' move of me) but I assure you, I'm going to make it work. Fingered crossed!
Happy MBFWA everyone!
